Alpine Terrace, Switzerland
We were asked to create a garden that would blend in with the natural woodland and mountain views, but at the same time create a useable entertaining area. Bespoke timber planters and trellis create the main framework of the garden and additional planters add warmer colour tones. The planting had to be able to cope with extremes in temperature yet blend with the surrounding countryside, a combination of Pine, Birch, Carex where used.
